Donald F. Vahl, 84, of Mt. Prospect, passed away September 20, 2018. Beloved husband of Geroldine Vahl, nee Clausen. Loving father of Linda (Bill) Cogdill, Janet (Drew) Kalcsics, Kimberleigh (Bruce) Motyka, and Sandra (David) Doehler. Cherished grandfather of 11, and great grandfather of 3. Dear brother of Carol Grossman. Fond uncle of many. Preceded in death by parents William and Laura Vahl, and brothers Charles, Earl, and Leonard Vahl.
Visitation Sunday, 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Highway, Mt. Prospect.
Prayers Monday, 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home to St. Emily Church, 1400 E. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect, for Mass at 10:00 A.M.
Interment Private.
